CBI convicted two Income Tax Practitioners 2 years Jail for fraudulently obtaining TDS refunds using fake certificates

Recently on CBI convicted two Income Tax Practitioners for fraudulently obtaining TDS refunds using fake certificates. CBI imposed 2 years Jail and fine of Rs.60,000. The case was filed by CBI in December 2007 after allegations of fraudulent Income tax refunds of around Rs 3.6 lkhs. Names of both the convicted person are Suresh Prajapati and Shobhna Prajapati. They misused the tax system and filed ITRs of multiple assesses with forged TDS certificates.
